Classic ASP runtime
Use VBScript procedures, classes, arrays, ByRef and error handling with Request, Response, Server, Session, Application, Err and classic includes.
Explore compatibility →OpenASP brings a Classic ASP interpreter and resident runtime to Linux, Unix and MacOS. Keep your existing `.asp` business code and leave the Windows Server and IIS dependency behind.
Implemented in pure C11, OpenASP compiles ASP templates and includes into validated bytecode and provides standalone rendering, a persistent interactive environment, multi-process FastCGI, shared bytecode caching and an optional OAC disk cache. The current version is 0.1.0.

Explore compatibility →Use openasp, openasp-cli, openasp-dis, openasp-dbg and openasp-fpm for rendering, interactive execution, disassembly, debugging and FastCGI deployment.
See supported platforms →Connect databases, caching and AI through OpenASP.MySQL, OpenASP.Redis and OpenASP.OpenAI, with native SQLite, MDB, Memcache, HTTP/WebSocket, JSON, XML and cryptography.
Join the project →Install the Linux x86-64 or MacOS Apple Silicon package, or build from source, then render ASP pages directly or start the FastCGI service.
Read the full docs ↗Download the package for your platform, or install a C11 compiler and dependencies before running `make all` and `make test`.
Render a page with openasp and point `--root` to the physical site root; the persistent CLI, debugger and OAC disassembler are also included.
Start openasp-fpm and let Nginx, Egret-web-server or another gateway forward `.asp` requests; enable the shared opcode cache in production and keep shell and process execution disabled.
